Most managed-IT quotes start low and grow at contract time — security, backup, firewall, and after-hours all billed later. We put the whole number on the page instead.
Based in North Houston — Serving Businesses Across Texas
The why
We built one flat price for a boring reason: we were tired of watching business owners sign a low number and get billed a bigger one. So we did the opposite — everything that keeps you running is in the number on the page, and the number on the page is the number on your invoice.
The problem
The walk-up rate you see first is rarely the rate you actually pay. Here's the honest anatomy — the pieces most quotes leave out, then add back once you're a customer.
The number on the first page of the proposal — the one that wins the meeting.
Behavior-based EDR, not the bundled antivirus. Usually a separate line once you've signed.
Continuous, tested, ransomware-resistant backup — priced per seat, on top.
Monitoring, firmware, policy. Frequently its own monthly line item.
Documentation and cleanup, quietly amortized across year one.
The walk-up rate plus the four things you needed all along.
Generic ranges from published Houston MSP pricing guides and vendor list pricing, 2026. We're not naming names — this is how the model works across the board, not one company.
What one price means
If it keeps your business running, it's already in the $125. The only things outside it are the things we'd rather not quietly mark up.
EDR, backup, firewall, network management, unlimited support including after-hours — one line, not six.
We recommend the firewall and switches; you buy them at our cost — links provided, zero markup. We don't profit on hardware.
Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 billed at published rates. No license markup — you pay what we pay.
Migrations, moves, buildouts — scoped, quoted, and approved before work starts. Never slipped into the monthly.
Unlimited means fair use, stated plainly: support consistent with normally running an office your size. Nights, weekends, tax season — you call, we answer, nobody starts a timer. No meter, no games.
The honest part
A page that only lists what's included is a sales page. Here's what sits outside the flat rate — because knowing the edges is the whole point of trusting the number.
Physical or cloud — monitoring, patching, EDR, and backup with tested restores, priced separately.
Fair-use storage covers a normal office. Unusually large datasets add storage — billed at our cost, no markup.
Migrations, office moves, new-site buildouts. Fixed-scope, quoted in writing, approved before anyone starts.
Firewalls, switches, access points. We recommend them; you buy them — at our cost, links provided, never marked up. Never bundled into the rate.
Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace seats, billed at published rates.
Same 10-person office, both quotes read honestly. One sticker looks lower until you add the things you actually need.
Where the market's headed
Buyers increasingly expect the all-in price up front, and the broader push against hidden "junk fees" — the FTC's 2024 surprise-fee rule being the loudest example — is nudging whole industries toward showing the real total. We just think IT should have gotten there on its own.
General market observation, not legal advice."I sign the quote and I answer the phone. It's a lot harder to hide fees when the owner is the one you call. That's the whole model — one price, one person accountable for it."
Because the pricing model is the product. Anyone can promise good service; the flat, all-in number is the part you can actually check against your invoice. Putting the reasoning on the page is the point — if the logic doesn't hold up, you should walk.
Higher than some walk-up numbers, yes — because a walk-up number usually isn't the all-in number. Once real endpoint security, backup, the firewall, and after-hours are added, most honest totals land in the same range or above. Compare all-in to all-in, not sticker to sticker.
Servers ($275/mo each), unusually large backup storage (at our cost), and project work (migrations, moves, buildouts — quoted in writing first). Hardware and software licenses you buy at our cost, zero markup. Everything else that keeps you running is in the $125.
Fair use — support consistent with normally running an office your size, including nights, weekends, and tax season, with no hourly meter. Project work is still project work. That's the entire catch, and it's written into the agreement in plain English.
