Other Guys IT is the trade name of K.E.M.M LLC, a Texas limited liability company at 5900 Balcones Drive, Suite 100, Austin, TX 78731. We provide managed IT, cybersecurity, and consulting services to businesses in the Houston area and across Texas. This policy explains what information we collect when you use otherguys.tech or work with us, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you fill out a form, book a call, email us, call us, or become a client, we collect what you provide: your name, company, email address, phone number, the size and type of your business, what you told us you need, and, if you become a client, billing details and the information needed to deliver your services.
Information collected automatically. When you visit our website we collect standard technical data: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring page, and the date and time of your visit. If you arrived from an ad, we record the click identifier so we know the ad worked.
Text messages. If you give us your mobile number and book an appointment, you may receive appointment reminders and confirmations by SMS. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out. We do not send marketing texts.
How we use it
- To respond to your inquiry, schedule and run your appointment, and prepare a proposal.
- To deliver, support, and bill the services you buy from us.
- To send service notices, updates, and, if you have asked for them, occasional emails about our services. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To measure whether our website and advertising work, and to keep the site secure.
- To meet legal and accounting obligations.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
We use service providers to run our business, and they process your information only on our instructions: website hosting and forms (Webflow, Cloudflare), scheduling and calendar invitations (TidyCal, Google Workspace), transactional email (Resend), our ticketing system and client portal (ConnectWise), invoicing and payments (QuickBooks), and advertising measurement (Google Ads, Google Analytics). Client environments are protected and backed up with security and backup platforms that we administer on your behalf.
We may disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or safety, or as part of a sale or reorganization of our business.
Cookies and tracking
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies for security (including a bot-protection check on our forms), to remember your preferences, and to measure traffic and ad performance. You can block or delete cookies in your browser; some site features may not work without them.
Client data
When you are a client, we administer systems that contain your business data and, for healthcare clients, may contain protected health information. We access that data only to deliver the services you have engaged us for, under the terms of your service agreement and any business associate agreement in place. This policy covers our own website and business records; how we handle your business systems is governed by your agreement with us.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, to stop sending you marketing, or to limit how we use your information. Email support@otherguys.tech or call (972) 244-3009 and we will respond within 30 days. We will verify your identity before acting on a request. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights.
Security
We protect personal information with access controls, multi-factor authentication on our own systems, encryption in transit, and vendor agreements that require the same. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
Our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes
We will post any changes here with a new effective date. Material changes to how we use information you have already given us will be communicated to you directly where we can.
